2005-11-14 - 7:59 a.m. You forgot Poland. Well, I guess we now know why Poland was so important in the U. S. War on Terror. Every time I think that I cannot be any more shocked by the actions of my country and its current administration, I am proven so very wrong. From secret prisons in Eastern Europe (sorry, I guess that would be New Europe) used for torture and the Vice-President requesting the Senate to exempt the CIA from laws assuring, "Cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment of prisoners in the detention of the US Government," so that agents may use aggressive interrogation techniques, to the whole unsettling leak-probe and white house transcripts being changed to suit the administrations agenda, I start feeling all together a little too much as if I am living in Orwells 1984.
